With Nino Ruggieri on guitar, Niklas has been performing regularly for over 10 years on various occasions. The duo “Sky Orange”, often augmented by drums, vocals and piano, has a very special laid-back sound with a wide variation of styles. The focus is on funk, soul, fusion and jazz with plenty of room for improvisation.

Niklas on Sax improvises to the DJ mix or with other musicians. He likes to come along with one of his DJ’s with whom he has been working for a long time. His taste in music is very wide-ranging. The symbiosis of DJ and saxophone works particularly well with house, lounge, soul, disco, techno, hip hop and black music.

Over 30 years of experience at corporate events for brand companies such as Nike, Volkswagen, Grundig, Deutsche Bank, Mercedes, Formula E racing and regularly for the Swedish Embassy.

Niklas was one of the first live musicians to improvise to electronic music in the early 90s. Amongst others all over Europe like in London (club Heaven with Colin Favour), Stockholm (Café Opera, Ritz), Norway, Honduras,

I booked Niklas on Sax for the opening of a DRK location. His background music for the reception of the guests was absolutely fitting and perfect for the event. I would describe the collaboration in 3 words: Uncomplicated! Reliable! Professional! Would I book Niklas again? Yes! Can I recommend him? Yes!
Niklas was a great enrichment for our wedding with 70 guests, which took place outside.
Musically, everything was just as we had discussed and hoped for beforehand.
I would definitely recommend Niklas. Especially for family celebrations ideal as accompaniment and framing. Relaxed and always between the guests, again at a distance. So no conversation at the champagne reception was disturbed.
